Terms of Service

Piclizer provides free, browser-based utilities for images, PDFs, text, calculations and developer tasks. All file processing is performed locally in your browser; files are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. The Service is offered free of charge for personal and commercial use.

You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to anyone who violates these rules, or who places unreasonable automated load on the Service.

You keep every right in the files you process. Because processing happens on your device, we receive no copy and claim no licence over your content. You are solely responsible for the files you choose to process and for keeping your own originals and outputs; we cannot recover anything processed in a browser session.

The Piclizer name, logo, site design, text and code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy or reuse substantial parts of the site without written permission. The tools' output — your own processed files — belongs entirely to you.

The Service is funded by advertising. With your consent, third-party providers such as Google AdSense may serve ads and set cookies; those providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Links to external websites are provided for convenience; we do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your interaction with advertisers or third-party sites is solely between you and them.

We work hard to keep every tool online, but the Service is provided without any uptime guarantee. We may add, change, suspend or remove any tool or feature at any time, and may modify these Terms; the current version is always published on this page with its last-updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the tools will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that results (such as compression ratios or OCR accuracy) will be accurate or reliable. Always keep your own backups of important files.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the Service is free, our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (US $100) or the amount required by applicable law, whichever is less.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Piclizer and its operators from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or to us. Sections 7, 8, 9 and 11 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you stronger rights, those rights prevail. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless local law grants you a different forum.
