About this tool: Image Cropper

Cut to the frame that matters

The Image Cropper trims JPG, PNG and WebP images down to the region you actually want. Drag or set the crop area, choose a free-form or fixed aspect ratio — 1:1, 4:3, 16:9 and friends — and the tool removes everything outside it. Cropping never resamples the kept pixels, so the part you save stays at full original quality.

Cropping is composition: it removes distracting edges, recentres a subject, or converts a horizontal photo into a square or vertical format for a specific platform. Because the output only contains the pixels you kept, cropped files are also smaller and faster to share.

The tool runs entirely in your browser, so unreleased designs, personal photos and private documents never leave your device. When you need the same picture in several shapes, crop once and then use the Image Resizer to generate each target size.

Like every Piclizer tool, this one runs entirely in your browser — your files stay on your device.
