Open password-protected PDFs you own
The Unlock tool removes password protection from a PDF when you know its password — the everyday fix for protected files whose password you have but whose protection blocks printing, copying or merging. Enter the password once, and receive a clean, unrestricted copy of the document.
Many protected PDFs arrive with trivially shared passwords (a booking reference, a date of birth) that make daily use awkward: you retype the password every time, printers refuse, tools reject the file. Unlocking produces a normal PDF you can read, print and archive freely.
The tool is designed for documents you are authorised to open — you must supply the correct password for it to work at all, and everything happens locally in your browser. It is not a password cracker and cannot open files you do not have the password for.
Like every Piclizer tool, this one runs entirely in your browser — your files stay on your device.
